USB Junction Box
The 2130 is a device that allows easy connection of up to 20 Toggle Switches to the USB Port on your computer. Just solder the wires from a standard RCA shield Cable to a Toggle Switch and plug it directly into the 2130. A GREAT device for thoses having little or no Electronic Experiance.

INSTALLATION

Installing the PULSE GENERATOR is really no problem at all. The Model 2050 was designed to be installed on any unused USB Port. All you need do is to solder two wires from an RCA Cable to just about any SPST or SPDT Toggle, Rocker Switch or Puch Button Spring Return Switch. Plug the cable into the Junction Box. That s all there is to it.

The 2050 was designed for the Flight Simulator Pilot with little or no electronic background or soldering Experiance.

Wiring Toggle Switches


Below is a drawing on wiring a SPST Toggle Switch. Soldering just two wires is all it takes to get the 2050 up and running.  The wires from a shielded RCA Cable are soldered to the two pins on the Toggle Switch (or Push Button Switch).
The connector side of the cable is pluged into any one of the 20 available jacks on the Junction Box. You can solder the remaining 19 switches in the same manner. Seeing that the toggle switches are conduction the COMMON GROUND, the length of the cable is not an issue.

Connecting the 2050 to Your Computer

Connecting the USB Pulsed Junction Box to your computer is a simple matter. Find an unused USB Port on your computer and plug in the Junction Box. When pluged in, your computer will start to look for and load the required Driver Software. A small window in the lower right hand corner of the screen will indicate that New Hardware was found.

When the Driver software is loaded, you can click on the "START" icon (lower left hand corner of the screen). Then click on "Control Panel". Then "Game Controllers". When clicked, you should see something similar to the photo shown below.
The Junction Box is displayed as: "Model 2050 Junction Box".
Using your Mouse, Highlight this text and click.

A new window will appear as shown above. Here you can see 20 RED Buttons indicating the 29 Digital Switch Inputs on the 2050. These RED Buttons will stay ON for as long as you keep pressing the push button of the toggle switch contacts are closed.

The Four RCA Jacks on the Bottom Row of the Junction Box provides +5VDC and GROUND and should NOT be connected to ANY Toggle, Spring Return Switch, ect. that places a short on these jacks. If any one of these Jacks are shorted to GROUND, you might damage your computer's Power Supply.
